Makeida World is a promotions, modeling and marketing company. The head office is located in London, England, UK and a subsidiary is located in Atlanta Georgia, USA. Makeida World was founded by Makeida Ezekiel in May 2006.
Makeida recognised a gap in the music industry and began to construct the idea of building a network of strong, glamorous promoters and thought of a way to bring fascination back to the music industry.
The formation of Makeida World was a ground-breaking, revolutionary idea that had a huge impact on Makeida as a brand worldwide. Never before had an artist developed such an elite group of highly attractive, hard working promoters. The success of Makeida World won the attention of fans around the country because they were now able to get closer to Makeida through the Makeida World team.
Makeida World caught the attention of the music industry, mainstream media, press, television broadcasters, fans, supporters, modeling agencies, fashion designers, scouts, event organisers, stylists and even Makeida World imitators.
The first members of Makeida World were formed by Makeida’s close friends and family. Within months the original 10 turned into 32 and the requests to join Makeida World flooded Makeida’s inbox. Makeida and Makeida World team created an unbeatable, powerful duo that left on-lookers amazed.
In September 2006 (3 months after the first formation), a concert organiser located in the USA placed a classified ad on behalf of Makeida in search of people to join Makeida World USA.
Makeida arrived in America and discovered 15 people waiting to become apart of Makeida World and that was how Makeida World USA evolved.
Makeida World has many famous supporters such as T-Pain, Akon, Dru Hill, Fabulous, Jodeci, Teedra Moses and many NBA stars.
Makeida Says;
“I needed to create a buzz and no better then via ‘word of mouth’ and through ‘word of mouth’ the idea of Makeida World was born. Makeida World consists of people that are my voice, they are the people that spread the word, they are ones that get closer to my fans. It was all about giving my fans more (…more of me). I knew the idea of Makeida World was revolutionary and there were many obstacles to overcome and, now I’m still amazed at the growth of Makeida World and the impact it has made on the music industry.”
